This competition is open to all students in Wales. Each secondary school or college is allowed one team of 2 speakers.

The Final between Cwmcarn School and Caerleon Comprehensive took place on Monday 29 November, 5.30pm at the Temple of Peace and Sara Morgan and Sarah Roberts of Cwmcarn School were declared the winning team. The girls will represent Wales at the English-Speaking Union’s International Schools Mace Final in May 2011!

Five of the competitors from the 2010 Wales School Debating Championship have also been selected to represent Wales at the 2011 World Schools Debating Championships in Dundee, Scotland.

The students selected were:
